VENUE RENTAL AGREEMENT

 

This AGREEMENT (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") is made effective this _____ day of _______________, 200__ by and between ____________________, located at ________________________________________ (hereinafter referred to as the "Renter") and ____________________, located at ________________________________________ (hereinafter referred to as the "Venue").

 

WITNESSETH:

 

In consideration of the respective covenants contained herein, the parties hereto, intending to legally bound hereby, agree as follows:

 

1. Venue Responsibilities. Venue agrees to provide its performance space located at _____VENUE ADDRESS_____ (hereinafter referred to as "Venue Address") with seats, backstage area, dressing rooms, lobby, restrooms, and parking lot. Venue agrees that all necessary permits and licenses required for business as a performance venue will be clearly posted at all times.

 

2. Renter Responsibilities. Renter is responsible for staffing the front of house, box office, security, light and sound operators, and rights to the material being presented. If Renter is unable to provide parking lot security, Venue will provide this for $XXX.XX per hour during performance hours only...
